"A common collective name Kiswahili speakers in Eastern Congo gave to Catholic missionaries was Padri, a loan word from Spanish padre and wich means "Catholic priests". In Orientale Province, Kiswahili speakers named them Mupe, another loanword from the French syntagm "Mon Père", wich means "M father". Lingala and Mongo speakers named them Sango, wich like the preceding collective names, means "Father". Still, in many areas Lingala speakers called Catholic priests Nganga Nzambe while Ciluba conterparts gave them the collective name Nangabuka. Nanga Nzambe and Nangabuka mean "God's healer"."
